Last night the Sacramento Kings welcomed the Boston Celtics to Sleep Train Arena for a little basketball match. Without both Rajon Rondo and Jared Sullinger, the Celtics couldn’t overcome 20+ point nights from Rudy Gay and Isaiah Thomas, as the Kings sent their visitors packing with a 105-98 victory.
The highlight of the night for the Kings came near the end of the 1st half, as Isaiah Thomas and Derrick Williams got out on the break. Williams picked up a loose ball and threw it ahead to Thomas, who was being chased down by Jarryd Bayless. After a quick look over his shoulder, Thomas spotted Williams trailing the play and lobbed up a pass off the backboard. Soaring through the air, Williams grabbed the ball and slammed it through the hoop with both hands, sending the ball bounding skywards and into the first row.
