NBA veteran Vince Carter has been throwing down highlight reel dunks for more than a decade – even in situations that don’t necessarily matter. Early in the fourth quarter in a game between the Dallas Mavericks and the Memphis Grizzlies on Wednesday night, Carter came off a screen and began to drive to the basket. One of the officials, however, blew his whistle as Courtney Lee was called for a foul. That didn’t stop Carter, who continued toward the basket before throwing down a 360-slam.
The Mavs defeated the Grizzlies 110-96 as Carter finished with 13 points and the “Coolest Dunk of the Night That Didn’t Count” award.
