Kawhi Leonard Suffers Broken Hand

Injuries, injuries, and more injuries. That’s what this season has been about, and it continued tonight.

Earlier in the Thunder-Spurs matchup that’s going on right now, Spurs forward Kawhi Leonard broke his hand.

Obviously, Leonard will not be returning to tonight’s game. At his meeting with the hand specialist tomorrow, it will likely be determined whether or not the budding, young star will need surgery. Early reports, however, indicate good news on that front.

It’s too early to know how long Leonard will be out. However, Danny Green suffered a similar injury earlier this year – breaking his second metacarpal bone – and is set to miss about a month. (The fourth metacarpal, by the way, is the bone that runs from the base of your ring finger to your wrist.)
