Kendall Marshall bursted onto the NBA scene on Friday night, dropping 20 points, dishing out 15 assists and recording 6 rebounds – all career-highs – as the Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Utah Jazz 110-99.

The 22-year-old signed a two-year, non-guaranteed contract with the team which pays him $547,570 this season and, if retained next year, increases to $915,243.

Since the game, Marshall’s Twitter followers have grown in the thousands, and while he is certainly excited about it, he is still waiting for that one coveted follow.

Kobe Bryant, Marshall’s own teammate has yet to follow him. Earlier on Saturday, Bryant tweeted some telling information:

Marshall may need to put up another historic performance before the Black Mamba decides whether or not he is worthy.
