ICYMI: Suggested Basketball Reading From Across the Web

While the opening game of TNT’s doubleheader (a Brooklyn Nets 102-93 win over the Los Angeles Clippers) was pretty forgettable, the finale was well worth staying up for. Thanks to 31 points and 25 rebounds from LaMarcus Aldridge, the Portland Trail Blazers defended their home court with a 111-104 victory over the Houston Rockets, who got 32 points and 17 rebounds from Dwight Howard. Tonight we see the New York Knicks try to get revenge on the Boston Celtics for the 41 point beating they took a week ago. Plus, the Minnesota Timberwolves travel to San Antonio to take on the Spurs, and we get to see the Houston Rockets again, as they face the Golden State Warriors in the second game of ESPN’s doubleheader. Until then, catch up on some reading with today’s suggested basketball readings from across the web.

As James Herbert over at SB Nation writes, Lopez has been fantastic for the Nets this year.
