ICYMI: Suggested Basketball Reading From Across the Web

Yesterday was quite the day across the Association. In an afternoon affair we saw the Clippers eek out a 103-102 victory over the Kings, but all anyone is talking about afterwards is how DeMarcus Cousins would not let Isaiah Thomas shake hands with Chris Paul. Then in the evening, we saw the Spurs take a 40 point lead on the Cavs, eventually winning by 30, LeBron James hit a game winner late in the 4th quarter against the Magic, and the Trail Blazers and Warriors get into a scuffle. We also found out that Derrick Rose did not tear his ACL, but did suffer a torn meniscus. Five games set for today, including a few afternoon affairs. So before those tip off, check out some words to read as we once again bring you suggested basketball readings from across the web.

Examining Jarrett Jack’s Offensive Struggles: By Trevor Magnotti (@TMagnotti

Coming into this season, many predicted that the Cleveland Cavaliers would finally make their return to the postseason. But almost a month into the season now, the Cavs have look terrible. Following last night’s 30 point loss to the Spurs, they’re just 4-10. Also struggling this year has been one of their newcomers, Jarrett Jack. Over at FanSided’s Right Down Euclid, Trevor Magnotti took a look at the backup point guard’s struggles.

Beno Udrih: Does Point Guard Have Role Going Forward: By Scott Davis (@WScottDavis)

Another team that’s had a rough go of it early in the season, the New York Knicks. To be fair, they’ve had their share of injury problems, but even so, things just don’t look good for the boys of Madison Square Garden. One of the players who’ve missed some time is starting point guard Raymond Felton. In his absence, Pablo Prigioni and Beno Udrih have shared time at the spot. But for Udrih, the minutes have been sporadic. Over at FanSided’s Buckets Over Broadway, Scott Davis wonders about Udrih’s role on the team going forward.
