Pass of the Night: Andre Iguodala to David Lee (Video)

There weren’t too many games to pick the Pass of the Night from, but it still ended up being a tough decision. With Chris Paul and Stephen Curry both throwing long distance lobs, you might have thought they would be featured here. But in the end, it was Curry’s teammate, Andre Iguodala who provided the best feed of the night.

Heading East, the Warriors visited Philadelphia, looking to become the first team to defeat the supposedly tanking 76ers. Andre Iguodala – returning to Philly after leaving the team two seasons ago – with help from Curry, made sure that when the game was over, there would be one less undefeated team.

Iguodala put up 32 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals, while Curry finished with 18 points, 10 rebounds and 12 assists – good for a triple double – as the Warriors destroyed the Sixers 110-90. (And it wasn’t even really that close.)

As there will be any time Steph Curry suits up, there were a number of highlights, but it was Iguodala’s pass that stole the show last night.

Late in the 2nd quarter, with Golden State already up 15, Iguodala took a pass in the left corner from Klay Thompson. The pass wasn’t quite on target, however, and Iguodala had to lunge to save it from going out of bounds. And while he saved the turnover momentarily, he was now falling towards the court side seats with seemingly no options. But he improvised quickly, firing a behind-the-back pass into the paint where David Lee was waiting to lay it up for two.
