Last season, Rajon Rondo joined the growing ranks of NBA players who have suffered a torn ACL. Over the past few years we’ve seen Derrick Rose, Iman Shumpert, and Ricky Rubio among others suffer the injury. It seems that Rondo will take the rout of Shumpert and Rubio and return in the middle of the season, unlike Rose who took a whole season off after the injury. After the summer wheeling and dealing they did, there has understandably been a lot of talk about the Detroit Pistons coming into this season. Part of the reason there has been so much discussion about them, is that their moves create a potential problem in terms of lineups and spacing and no one really knows how the dilemma will play out. Over at Hickory High, Jacob Frankel tried to figure out how the Pistons will fare with their influx of talent in his season preview for the team.
