Tough news for the Golden State Warriors broke just minutes ago that David Lee will be out for the remainder of the season.
This news comes according to a tweet from CBS Sports’ Ken Berger.
David Lee tore his right hip flexor on Saturday and is done for the season, league source says. He had an MRI today.

Lee scored only 10 points, but grabbed 14 rebounds over 29 minutes in the Warriors last second loss to the Nuggets last night in the first game of their series.
The injury to Lee likely means Carl Landry will move into the starting lineup. Landry has played well off the bench this season and scored 14 points and added 5 rebounds in Game 1. With Landry moving to the starting lineup, it will also mean an increase in minutes for Draymond Green and Festus Ezeli, who each played sparingly last night.
This is a tough blow for both Lee and the Warriors. It was Lee’s first playoff appearance in his career.
