Steph Curry came into tonight’s final regular season game against the Portland Trail Blazers needing 2 three-pointers to break Ray Allen’s record for most threes made in a single season. It didn’t take long, as in the middle of the 2nd quarter, the record fell when Curry drilled a three from the right wing. It was his 270th three of the year.
Curry’s shooting this season was other-worldly. He shot 45% while taking 600 attempts from deep. It was an incredible year of shooting, marked with an iconic performance in Madison Square Garden. It will be fun to watch Curry this year in the playoffs and during the rest of his budding career.
Check out a video from the NBA featuring highlights from Curry’s season and the record breaking three from tonight. Congrats, St3ph.
