Late in the second quarter tonight, the Denver Nuggets’ Danilo Gallinari suffered a knee injury that looked to be extremely painful.
The big Italian was driving to the basket and when he planted on his left knee, it gave out and buckled. He started hopping on his right leg and grabbing his left knee. As he sat down on the court, he looked to be screaming in pain.
He was unable to put any pressure on his left leg, and was eventually wheeled off to the locker room on a cart. Hopefully for Gallinari and the Nuggets, the injury isn’t too serious, and he will be able to return for the playoffs.
