If you didn’t believe in the Dallas Mavericks before last night, chances are your opinion changed a little bit after they went into Miami and knocked off the streaking Heat. Before the season started, I thought Dallas would be the same kind of team they’ve always been, however, they seemed to really be focusing on the defensive end, and that’s paid dividends in their success so far this season. While they obviously have to go through the likes of the Spurs and Lakers to get to the NBA Finals, there’s nothing so far that has shown that they couldn’t beat either one of them in a playoff series.
Here’s a look at tonight’s games:
#6: Golden State Warriors (9-18) at Sacramento Kings (5-20) – 10:00 PM ET, Regional
#5: New Jersey Nets (8-20) at Memphis Grizzlies (12-16) – 8:00 PM ET, Regional
#4: Oklahoma City Thunder (19-9) at Charlotte Bobcats (9-18) – 7:00 PM ET, Regional
#3: Philadelphia 76ers (11-16) at Chicago Bulls (16-9) – 8:00 PM ET, Regional
#2: Milwaukee Bucks (10-16) at Los Angeles Lakers (21-7) – 10:30 PM ET, Regional
#1: Dallas Mavericks (22-5) at Orlando Magic (16-11) – 7:00 PM ET, NBA TV
Can the Magic find more offensive chemistry tonight and pick up the win against the Mavs?
