NBA Game Rankings: 12/13/10

It was certainly a case of two teams heading in different directions yesterday, as the Knicks continued their hot streak by outscoring the Nuggets in a high-scoring affair, while the Hornets struggled to score in their 88-70 loss in Philadelphia. And with the news coming out that Carmelo Anthony only wanting to sign an extension if he’s traded to New York, Knicks’ fans are pretty giddy right now. Meanwhile, Hornets’ fans are hoping their team can figure something out quick, as losing 8 of 11 isn’t actually a recipe for making the playoffs.

Here’s a look at tonight’s schedule:

#5: Golden State Warriors (8-15) at Utah Jazz (17-8) – 9:00 PM ET, Regional

#4: Portland Trail Blazers (12-12) at Memphis Grizzlies (10-14) – 8:00 PM ET, Regional

#3: Milwaukee Bucks (9-13) at Dallas Mavericks (19-4) – 8:30 PM ET, Regional

#2: Indiana Pacers (11-11) at Chicago Bulls (14-8) – 8:00 PM ET, NBA TV

#1: New Orleans Hornets (14-9) at Miami Heat (17-8) – 7:30 PM ET, Regional

Can the Hornets get out of their funk and knock off the streaking Heat?
